    Default New Laserworld announcements hahaha

I just received the Laserworld email with " special" Pro Light and Sound offers.
Hahahah, a 7-9Watt RGB, ok cool i think, let's see the specs.

    >1W 640nm, >5.0W Green >1W 445nm....
euh... nice colorbalance mate.... i think your white is a bit greenish ;-)

What kind of practices are this ? Calling this an 7 to 9Watt RGB.
Hahaha, we knew already they were special, but this is really something huh ?
    I only had to laugh...
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

I agree the advertismend is a but strange, but 5W green with 1W red and blue is not realy strange, even RTI seld prjectors like this.

the big advatage of this is for indoors you have a balance 3W white, for outdoor you will have a 5W green.

Swithing color palletes can even be done with a cue.

A lot of companies do that...take a look at www.l-spot.nl they have the most useless rgb lasers in the world. Take a look at their configurations. And they also sell the virus-infected mamba black software, they call it : ls100 software.

@McCarrot: i see your point, still i think it's a bit misleading but ok.
    Take a look at their 2600RGB, 550mw 640, 800mw 532 and 650mw of 445.
Well that sucks right ? Or is that handy if you want 800mW for outside ;-) ?
In the heavy one i can agree with you, because it makes sense what you said, but in the 2-2.6W version i cannot really see the reason.

    @Lassie: i don't want to talk about l-spot.
Selling illegal copies of mamba black is totally not done.
I think that might be even worse than selling ill configured projectors.
The real professionals know what to look for in a projector.
    I didn't fail !

    I'm just amazed that it's not 1watt 532, 1watt 640 and 5watts 445....

It's their name I guess, someone who just starts with laser equipment finds this company at first, then buys their product, not knowing they just got ripped off.

We (most forum members) judge Laserworld on some laser they bought on ebay which had a price too good to be true.

Laserworld got ebay crap selling crap lasers for little money, but laserworld also got high end projectors 99,99% on this forum can only dream off!
And Laserworld got everything in between. This is a formula very little lasers companys have.

the problem is laserworld is bad for everyone... because those people go out and buy the "10w" laserworld projector and it sucks, so then they figure... man, lasers suck... even if the projector is only putting out 1W and 9W of IR the average person buying this stuff is going to have no idea..
