Who out there has the best way to reduce the poins from this logo without loosing details
I have a 30k scaner and traceit and I cant work it out need laser genuises to reply.

Any kind of text is always a killer as it requires a lot of points close together to achieve the letter shape.

I'd also take out the 3 circles representing the rim of the disc.
A plain single circle is enough and you take out around 400-600 points by removing 2 of the circles.
This is a points only view with 2 outer circles removed - still only 10 fps.
Its not hard to see where the problem lies ie the lower text:

If I type in the logo and then place a ring around it will the points still be the same
I bought that program but now have a new computer and the licence is for the other computer wast of cash.

Quickshow.
Badger and ILDA SOS are your best bet as you need to rationalise the text points.

save your pic as a bitmap and give it a go , also sergy on the forum has some tools on the ftp.
if that does not work like i said i have lasercam to cature your pic and if it needs any further processing i have ildsos let me know how you get on,and i will try tomorrow for you
