    No you cant just turn the cube over ,it works at 90deg
    Not 180deg
    When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

    435mW 445nm
    465mW 532nm
    1600mW 660nm
    Dave's brass LD mounts and flexure mounts.

    Does this look ok?

    why does this design need a 1/2wave plate?

    could you not just have the one set of three V pol and the other set H pol?

    hey wayne,

    why don't you just get rid of the 660 and just make a quad with 640s?

    on another note, i think we should look into telescopics, there is much to be learned there

    i got a strong dose of lasers today. 12 hours straight in the shed, no food, 1 glass of water. i am turning shaolin here!!!! made a mini 660 dual, another 445 and i tossed in a 100mw greenie and the outcome is white light!! i also tried combining MM1s and 3 axis mounts and near field alignment was a breeze. that should keep me busy until i make my 12banger 660 and get a biger green. i am dead but it feels gr8!

    I want the profiles vertical on all diodes for knife edging.

    some people arent on planet earth like the rest of us.

    640 = £120
    660 = £3

    although it would be nice to be able to afford £120 per diode

    Since several people have asked, I'd say the answer is obvious: YES.
    have i not made enough threads regarding red builds and telescopics
    Apparently not.

    What? You think you're the only person on PL that hasn't had to repeat something a few times? Sheesh! Get with the program already. People are asking questions. Instead of complaining about it, why not answer them? (Or at least link to the other thread where you answered it before.) Honestly, I can't recall the specific issues you're referring to regarding the use of telescopics (beyond the beam diameter to divergence trade-off, which hardly qualifies as an "issue"), and I *have* read your posts.

    Seriously Andy.... Get off your high horse and answer the question, or else don't bother to post in the thread in the first place.
