Default Bang Goes the Theory - homemade laser!

Anyone (probably just UK folks) just seen the homemade laser on Bang Goes the Theory on BBC1? It was a UV laser and the lasing medium was the air in a gap.

Should be available on iPlayer soon if you missed it.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

sounds like a air/nitrogen laser. there's a lot of footage on youtube about them. including someone who was using one to pump dye (i think he's a member here).

    very nice!

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I didn't watch it, but sounds like a Nitrogen TEA laser.

Will have a gander at it on iPlayer laters.
