Sounds good. I'm planning on dual 1 watt blues for 2 watts total of 445. You think 0.3W of green will be enough? (Where'd I put that brightness chart..)
Do you know what kind of modules these are? I've seen similar ones on the O-like site,
but like most pointers, they have a required cycle time (e.g. 100 seconds on, 60 seconds off) due to lack of tec, improper heatsinking etc. I'm wondering if external additional heatsinking will do the trick.

According to this (if it's not outdated) 532nm is 22 times brighter to the human eye than 445, which means with 2 watts of 445, only ~90mw of 532 is needed for correct balance. right?
Without looking for the chart I recall that 532 is 4-5 times as bright as 445. But, remember perceived brightness is effected by the intensity of the light and the higher beam quality of the 532 will increase this ratio further.

Steve, my Kvant 1W has a 300mW green with a 1 watt 445 and 300mW of 640 and it is a bit green heavy sometimes. I am also building a 1.2W with 500mW 445, 300mW 532, and a mix of 150mW 640 and 300mW 660 which also looks a bit green heavy. 600mW of green will go nicely with 2 watts of blue but you may need to throw together a dual 660 rig also.
I saw your chart, but, I'd take issue with the very high ratio. Refering to published curves for photopic and scotopic sensitivity it looks like the chart you posted agrees with the photopic (bright ambient light) curve while the scotopic curve (dark adapted) supports a lower 4:1 ratio. Looking at my 100mw 532 laser pointer next to my 1.5W 445 lab laser in a dark room it in no way is as bright, but by reducing the 445 to 700mw they are very close. Just to stir things up a bit why not purchase the most powerful laser within each wavelength and balance them with software for now. Whenever you want the most punch max them out at the expense of balance and as money/lasers become available then upgrade whichever laser is the week link in the future?
