not really since pangolin is conspiring against me by making stucka's QM.NET stuck at 192.168.1.150/24 lol

but ya I doubt we will need more than 254 addresses @ SELEM

The current IP address should be labeled on the back of the QM.net.
If that address is compatible with the network scheme Flecom is setting up, I would request that address.

    Hey Frank (and everyone else...)

I got the following information from the venue manager regarding the network and video upgrades to the auditorium... See below:
Internet is AT&T uVerse 18Mbps (highest available at location). Access is
via wired 100Mbit switch at the control booth which gives access to between
around 15Mbps down and 800Kbps up. It's shared with the public WiFi, but the
WiFi can only draw around 5-6Mbps of bandwidth, so there should still be a
solid 10Mbps or so left even with heavy WiFi usage. I'm assuming here they
are streaming IN and not OUT of the auditorium? If they want to stream OUT,
they'll have about 800Kbps to work with, so a 500-600Kbps outbound stream
    should be pretty safe.

Our streams use 2x StreamTwo Rain HD boxes at the auditorium, fed by 2x
StreamTwo Storm HD boxes in Mooresville NC. StreamTwo is a new technology we
developed for The Cove's multi-campus streaming which delivers multiple
frame-synchronised HD streams over regular internet. We'll be
offering/marketing this to other organisations in the near future (lots of
churches showing interest!) - but we don't have spec sheets or the website
ready just yet. I can send more information in the near future if it would
be of interest to your laser show guys.

The projector is a Panasonic PT-DZ6710 and offers SDI, DVI, and VGA inputs
if they want to hook anything up to that.

There's also a 21" iMac (3.06GHz i3) hooked to the internet, which can feed
a signal to the projector if needed.
So it looks like we have around 600 kbps of bandwidth to support the live feed via ustream. That should be enough. And we'll have plenty of bandwidth for downloading, if we need it.

Regarding the video projector, I don't think we need to mess with it at all. (Too risky to damage it with one of the lasers.) But if we can get a high-def camera hooked up to the i-Mac, we can use that to send live video to all the TV's in the place. (and maybe broadcast on Ustream from the Mac too?) What do you think?

sounds good to me... we can also use the iMac/TV's to show the show schedule too if we are actually going to try and adhere to that
