    Default 4W 450nm diode

It will be interesting to see this diode and it's beam specs, but at what cost?

Now THIS, would be amazing. 445nm is nice, but too deep a blue for me. I know, 5nm is probably not noticably less violet than the 445, but this would be something I would love to get my hands on, provided this beam isn't the size of Mama Cass.

Soraa also presented results of 750mW single-mode blue laser diodes (the highest single-mode power reported to date). The lasers operate with single spatial mode and multi spectral mode and are designed for smaller-format display applications such as micro projectors and pico projectors. The devices can be directly modulated at the high speeds required for high-resolution displays with minimal speckle
    750mW single-mode would be nice.

Very true. Any idea how fast stuff like this hits the market? I would love to be in on a group-buy.
