Default Need help thinking of a logo and name

    Hello everyone,

over the past few days I have been thinking about making my own logo.
problem is.... I can't think of anything.. I have been tinkering for days now...and NOTHING.

Something for my website that is.
Since I don't even have a name yet that doesn't help me either.
I will buy a domain name if I know what.
I will surely buy the domain: masterpj.nl
but that's not the problem I need to know a name for the selling of some laser graphics ^^

This is because I figured that many people on prolight asked for my bussiness card.. I can get it printed with ease and it will help me get more clients than I now have.

But this is a problem that's really been bugging me

I already have an website designer ready for me to design as soon as I'm ready.

Any help would be VERY apreciated, and I might do something in return.

    company is straightforward:
    selling of laser graphics
    selling of 3D laser graphics
creation of graphic shows on request
    creation graphic shows on demand.
Use and information about new developments on laser graphics

I have a work mascot that I always use when doing 3D, i was thinking at first to use certain elements of it.. but I'm also not sure how and what.
Mascot is here: Click image for larger version.

    hey mister pj

no idea about a name or a logo, just a few thoughts that might get you going

first of all, do you really need a name and a logo? this "implies" that there is some sort of company running and people you will contact in the future might be taken back by realising that it is only you there

so, maybe it is a good idea to make a simple and elegant business card with your real name and a title like "3d artist" or "3d laser art" stating clearly who you are, what you do and how people can reach you. then, you can speak with actions and examples in your website and steer people the way you want

from all the business cards i have seen, it has always been the simplest and more minimal that have got to me

so, my advice is don't get too enthusiastic, keep it simple and to the point. don;t make it look too complex, flashy and "childish"

    i hope this helps

    It most certainly helps.
Thanks Lanek, and I will most certainly stay away of too complex, flashy or childish.
The reason why I want a logo and some name is so that people remind me.
    But perhaps your right yeah.
I will most certainly work on that samples

Or maybe my slogan could be

    *Not Yer Ordinary light bulb!*

I have an idea, thanks guys and you too lanek.
I know what the bussiness card is going to lok like.
Also i will have the webdesigner work on the highspeed frame purchase system which I have thought out last night.
If i can get this method of purchasing frames working I'l let people know about this.
What i can say it will be: fast, easy, convenient and very affordable.
Selling different versions of each show or graphics.
    1. QM bound serial/ dac bound (cheapest )
    2. Own use bound (normal price frames can be used in shows)
    3. All rights bound (except selling) (free and sometimes part of some event, promotion or celebration)

but furthermore just selling frames and animations which will be full color ilda
or lds if you got an QM .

Or offcourse a graphics on demand or show on demand form.
And an email to contact me directly.
Don't expect this to be done very soon, but it's coming.
