Great job marc.
Question does pangolin select frames to a bpm or are you switching them up in sync with the music?

Nice Marc.
Looks like you were running QS judging from some of the patterns, is that correct?
Could be either. LivePro and QS both have quite good audio triggering (QS has Virtual LJ too) that can be manually generated (e.g. tap time) or driven by an audio input. Quite a lot of customization available for 1/4/8/16/etc beat divisions tooQuestion does pangolin select frames to a bpm or are you switching them up in sync with the music?

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
Hey everyone thanks for the positive feedback.
I will try to get some pics today of the inside. I have to pack up for a show, but i should be able to pop a panel off and get some shots.
FYI (i forgot this originally)-
5W/640 KVANT
7W/445 KVANT
3W/532 DHOM
I am simply "tapping" along to the BPM. its a function available in QS. Very simple and very useful. You can also have it trigger via audio input and you can choose amount of beats to switch (4, 8, 16, 32 beats)Question does pangolin select frames to a bpm or are you switching them up in sync with the music?
You betcha . i use QS for 90% of my "live" jobs. Sometimes i'll use my Full Auto software if its just a green show (Older full auto is just TTL outputs). and obvioulsy any of my pre choreographed shows i use the full LD 2000 system.Nice Marc.

Marc, Martin Pelosh has advised me that the mounting 'wings' on the Kvants are removable. If they are removed, what are the options for mounting remaining? Can they be screwed from the underside?
I wish they'd do a set of mounts front and rear as those wings make them so much bigger than they need to be

they have a very good reason to use those wings... I think the fact I didn't is why I am having issues with my kvant
I am so jealous of all the empty space in that box! I wish I knew they had a bigger box when I bought my LT1000 lol
@flecom - care to elaborate on what problems you think you caused by removing the wings? Also, I take it it is possible to mount them with the wings removed then?

i don't own a kvant laser but my guess is the "wings" help keep the baseplate from warping when the module is tightened down.
