Very Nice AO DRIVER
NEOS 64070-120-1AS-DFS
Professional Rack Mount AO driver.
Direct Digital Synthesis Driver. Covers 70-120 Mhz and a considerable range outside that. Frequency is programmable with either a DB connector on the back, or rotary BCD switches on the front. Tunes in ~7.9 Khz steps. So yes, you could scan with this, I have not tried it.
Why is this important? Not only can you do on/off, you can change the angle of the beam coming out of the AO.
Amplitude input, ie what most PLers care about, is 0-1 volt, however I will gladly recalibrate it to 0-5V.
Amplitude Bandwidth is on the order of a few Mhz, no doubt in my mind you could do laser video with it.
Has the sampling port so you can hook a frequency counter to it to see what the frequency is.
For those of you who are just looking for a 80 Mhz or 110 Mhz AO driver in a nice case, for all those surplus AOs out there, no problem, I'll set it to 80 Mhz or 110 Mhz on the front panel switches, set it up for 0-5V drive, document that it works, and ship it to ya!
99 dollars plus shipping.
I can add in a 1205 series AO or quality 1205 sized clone for 50$.
