Wow, I upgraded my Firefox browser to 4.0.1 today and wow! The claims of increased rendering and page load times are true. This is one snappy browser.

Love Opera. Great browser.

I have not used Opera since about 2000. The thing I liked at the time, it was the best browser for Linux. I switched to Mozilla 0.8 something around 2002.
My old Sharp Linux PDA runs Opera.
I should give Opera a go again.

Chrome FTW
------------
I use IE9, Chrome, and FF4. They are all great. Chrome has a little edge in UI responsiveness but I don't use it as much because they fiddle with the process priority of other applications while it's running. Chrome will turn down the process priority of other applications while increasing it's own. This would be fine if the only thing you ran on your computer was Chrome but that's not the case for me and I think it's kinda rude.

no way, chrome's privacy policy leaves more than a lot to be desired
Also, Chrome is using the IE backbone. Really, it is just a fast version of IE mainly because of the streamlined UI. Firefox started to get bloated and was getting to have a lot of the same problems that IE was suffering from. I stopped using it about 2 years ago. I wonder if it has gotten any better.

I'm finding that almost very page including Flash just slows my Mac down when run in Firefox. With 4.01 they have a separate process for plugins and I can see quite clearly that the process is using an excessive amount of CPU. Same pages are fine in Safari.
