If its ishow I'm going to guess its probably a Laserworld projector.

I would really appreciate your help instead of these criticisms. Please read the first post, I have made my explanation that I am new to these issues.
Yes its a 5 watt projector , thats why I could only afford I-Show.
If needed i can take the pictures of the diodes "just to make you believe me that its 5w"
Why would I even lie about that ?![]()
No one thinks YOU are lying. No doubt that you are stating what the system was advertised as. There are MANY projector companies that bloat the power levels of the lasers. Laserworld is one of the worst offenders. Advertising a 3W system and after it was tested and verified by many well trusted sources it was found to only be putting out about 700mW.... that is all we mean.Originally Posted by bnbbros
I think the main problem is that 5W is a bit much for a beginner. We have had several problems in the past with people using very high powered lasers in very dangerous situations. we are all a little leary. To help us out, since you are new, tell us a little about yourself and your history with lasers. That might take you out of a few people's crosshairs.
BTW, welcome to PL!
If you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room.
In the videos, there is light in the room and the camera starts to darken itself when there is too much reflection of beam. Maybe thats why it seems so weak.. Whatever let's forget about the output power.
Did the videos give anyone an idea about my problem?
Ps. I don't want to give the brand of device not to make the firm offended. Its not laserworld, I bought it from China.
You'll get both. It's good honest opinions and advice from the members here that you need to learn.[/QUOTE]
Which is why we are all concerned you have a 5W laser. Can I ask you what are the OD specifications of the safety goggles you are using for each wavelength laser installed in your projector?
That's not a good reason to buy a 400HP engine and stick it in a beat-up VW Beetle! There are better, safer free and cheap alternatives and the members here can help you find those.
Please do take many clear focussed pictures for us of the outside and inside of this projector.
I don't think you're lying, as you said you are "new to these issues". We are trying to get a better idea of what you have so we can help you understand more and get it properly working in a safe and correct manner.
Do you have a laser power meter or can you buy or borrow one? This is the only way to confirm what powers you have and is an important piece of equipment when using high power lasers.
Last question: How long would it take to burn your eye's retina looking at the spot of a 5W laser on your wall (without correct OD specified goggles)?
Well, I doubt they would be offended. Business is business and no one is above scrutiny.
As stated before by others, there is a high frequency oscillation on your X-axis. Whether this is caused by the DAC or the galvo amp, that remains to be seen. As other have said, Try switching the the signal connections on the galvo amps. Move the signal connection from the X-axis to the Y-axis and see if the problem persists. NOTE: Make sure and leave the galvos hooked to their respective amps. Do not hook the Y galvo into the X amp and vice versa. Switching them could cause all kinds of problems. Only move the signal wires that are coming from the DB-25 ilda connector.

Thank you for being kind, I live in TURKEY, I opened a laser rental service here in my country, this one is my first hi-powered laser, before this one i had several devices like 200-300 mw projectors. In Turkey there are limited sources for laser show controllers or laser projectors. You have to buy laser projectors and controllers abroad because its too expensive in my country.
Let's talk about both your galvo problem and the power issue, particularly if you want help here.
Blanking seems broken, galvos are wildly unstable. Until you can start isolating the problem then the videos are not enough to go on.
Talking about issues you have with a particular unit means others can learn about the quality of manufacturing and choose themselves if they want to buy from them or not. If you posted the manufacturers name, you would be contributing useful information to the community. Unless you are making accusations against the manufacturer, which I don't think you are, then you should post all details here. It is the responsible thing to do.
Yes you are right but i think i-show or me caused these problems, because i tried to write a text at 45 kpps accidentaly plus with a very big size,
Except these problems I am totally happy with the manufacturer and the customer service, they are very helpful and kind..They are also sending new galvo system for free,
