OK-
Just a thought here and please, i dont claim to be Mr smarty pants technical guru, but this makes sense to me.
Why cant we just take a red laser, green laser and blue laser at any heights, any angles, any polarizations and shine them together to make a white dot? At that whte dot, would be an aperture into a fiber cable of any given length. wouldnt th output of this fiber be a perfect white beam and also, all beams the exact same width? i dont have a piece of fiber here, or i would just try it. but in my head this seems like it would work.
dont laugh at my rudimentary drawing.
thoughts?

Can't make 3 beams simply 'stop' and change-direction to get sent-down an input-coupler properly...
....and armed only with his trusty 21 Zorgawatt KTiOPO4...
