Default Best and safest ebay sniper???

I know that these can be a hassle....but I am wanting to place a snipe on something that ends at 4:00 am. A little out of the alotted sleep time for an auction....any suggestions?

AuctionSentry. It's a pay program, but it's pretty good.

Probably a bit late now . However, why not just set your maximum bid, go to bed and forget about it till the morning. The Ebay system always seems to get the last bid in on an auction, so if you've set an amount that you're happy to pay just let Ebay's own system do the work. If you don't win the auction you'd have ended up paying more than you wanted anyway, if you do win, well, you'll only pay just enough to beat the previous bidder, this could be less than the amount you were happy to pay.

I tend not to bother getting into bidding wars, i'll just set an amount and let it ride, if I win i'm always happy with the amount, and if I lose, well, it's gone for more than I wanted to pay so i'm still happy. A win win situation and no stress

I am convinced some sellers bid using another account or "mate" to drive the price up....

I Know they do. Seen it too many times: a (0) person bidding with only one seller. Just can't prove it.
