    Default Help - need a constant 0v ILDA DB25

Is there any source of 0v only in a ILDA standard cable?

I was looking at the pinout on Pangolin's web site for the QM2000 and the only thing I see that possibly could be used for a constant source of 0v is pins 8 - 10 (deep blue, cyan and yellow). I'm guessing that if they are not being used they would be always 0v.

One question if they ARE 0v is when you set Showtime to "All colors to white" for a single color projector, would pins 8 - 10 still be 0v?

I can't use ground (pin 25). It is supposed to be 0v.

    Help....

I'm no expert at electronics. But I'll have a go...

On which circuit are the +V and -V signals you wish to have a 0V for? If this is not local to the ILDA circuit then unresolved differences in ground potentials between circuits could affect the relative voltage.

Do you use a single-pointed grounding scheme for your DC?

You're going about it wrong; my splitter box has 2 pots that change the size of one of the projectors. The pots are hooked up to x + and -, y + and -, and pin 25. I took a few pic and will label them and post them in 15 to 20.

Lightbulb Assuming you are trying to use pots to change your ILDA output size.

    The pots are:

    The connections are:

I think I have found the solution to the 0v problem. I'm going to try a virtual 0v first. If that don't work then I will have to use pin 25 ground and hope I never pick up any noise from the cable.

    Fingers crossed....
