Displaying Text Messages..

We use Zion to control one of our bigger lasers but my question is.... Is there a way to display (live) text messages from the crowd ?

oops, missed that part, no idea, I would imagine not

you would have to ask the creators of Zion to see if they have any sort of SMS stuff

Keep being told this but am sort of stuck in my ways i guess lol and i have soo soo soo many shows / files already put together in Zion it would take forever to redo it all

Well each to there own i guess..... maybe one day i'll change over (if this text idea takes off maybe lol) but i do like Zion and i've never really had any problems with it to be fair

The cheapest way to get Pangolin SMS Laser would be to get a Flashback (FB3), LivePro Licence (needed for IMU), IMU itself, and a GSM modem + SIM.
That would total around £825.

BUT: As a "side effect"... you also have the best possible laser show software for live stuff (LivePro

), and Quickshow is also included with the FB3, so could use that for odds and ends if you wanted.

IMU can also do video output for normal data projectors.

And no, I'm not on commission
