    Over at LPF, the vets are splitting the cost.

    The pictures are from one of the other vet's suppliers.

    The unit will be here next week.

    Interesting Dave.

    I am keen to hear test results re power, wavelength and beam profile.

    Cheers.

    The ratings are the same:

    130 = 2000 lumen
    140 = 2500 lumen
    150 = 3000 lumen

    Peace,
    dave

    **EDIT** BTW and off topic Hey dnar -- I pulled apart a BDXL writer (quad layer bluray) the other day. The violet diode in it is in a 3.8mm package!

    From the earlier videos saying tweaking the wavelength these may be them... Another possibility is that the supply for the smaller package is low since the no-fun-stuff in Japan. Either way I will be eager to see the results at NWLEM Dave!

    Didn't the Nichia datasheet from 2009 for the NDB7352's state a 9mm can?
    - There is no such word as "can't" -
    - 60% of the time it works every time -

    Yes, the original 1W diode spec sheet stated a 9mm can.

    Hey Daguin

    Interesting, thanks for sharing! I hope these can be extracted.
    Copied the images for the people at laserfreak.

    Best regards

    dont the proper ones from nichia have better beam specs, there the ones arctos and the likes use.

    so maybe we will be lucky
