with correction they seem to be about the same size as an uncorrected 445...

so that means they are smaller or about the same as the 650 flashlights yet a lot brighter and cheaper, so this sounds like a godsend to me... I *NEED* craptons of red to be satisfied... my 2W 650 + 1.2W 642 red is not enough!! NEED MOAR PHOTONS

While I don't need that much red, I think corrected with pinhole would work nicely for me.

that would be a good graphics setup I think...

I just *love* red beams, and unfortunately it seems to take crap-tons of power to even come close to matching the lm of blue/green

The web site doesn;t seem to list these without leads, can they be ordered bare like the 445?

That is what I am going for... graphics. Man, if you did a quad or even 2 quads PBS'd... you could get some great power. I just wonder how these are going to look, kinfe edged with corrective optics. If they come even close to the 445s, with the price/power these are at, you will have your photons! I think once a few of us knock out the kinks and quirks, I am hoping we will have a viable source of some powerful reds.

He sure does. I missed that when I ordered mine, but oh well, gives me an excuse to order more!

Yep if you want just the bare diode with the module and some silicone wire on the side just put a note when you check out or send me a PM.

Just an update on the 635 diodes. This weeks batch is scheduled for a Friday delivery. As long as this delivery time holds they should all be shipped out by Saturday at the latest if not same day Friday with an expected delivery of Monday or Tuesday.
