    Default All Fixed!!

Andrew, you weren't kidding when you said these mounts were tiny! Perfect fit.

Here is a pic with the mount installed before I put the cover on. With a little trial and error, the beams are aligned well enough for me. At about 30 meters, they start to diverge a little, the spot starts taking an oblong shape. At 60 meters, you can see it more. I never project anything past 15 meters anyway so, this is perfect for me. Besides, my green spot is twice as fat at 60 meters anyway.

Yeah, Shoot Andrew (dr. lava) a PM. Idk if he still has some, but I had to PM him because they are not on his parts page.

If it shifts, I will drill and hard mount, but for now, I just used JB Weld.

Default White RGB and Kvant 640nm red

    Hi guys

About the white color with RGB:
We have made the first of 4 laser ~15 watt RGB laser for our shows, and have used a following laser:
    Red - Kvant 5 watt 640nm - putting out 5.5 watt
    Green -Jenlas D2 5 watt 532nm - putting out 6.5 watt
Blue - CNI 5 watt 457nm (with HB driver) - putting out 4.9 watt

The color balanace is really nice, as you can see on the pictures. The green must be turned to max to match the white output, else there is to mutch blue (=cool color)

About Kvant: Service is really good. Have only good things to say about them. Have chect the current for the LD and them don't over current them run in idel as them shall. :-)
I have taken a picture of the kvant 5 watt laser, there is 2x18 diodes mounted (see picture). Wokring really good.

That's a nice looking icy white so looks like a good prediction from Chroma.

BTW who's the guy in the red? That looks like real eye burning stuff from distance!

Maybe the background in the Chroma program should be changed to this CIE colour plot

    Default Adjusted the bar....DOWN

Thanx Doc...that background does look to be more representative of what has been posted here !!! After checking some prices...I have decided that perhaps Projector #2 will be overpower on blue as 5W of red and 5W of green are out of my price range...very out of range. Sooo...it comes down to what is affordable....and what can I build myself. To that end....here's the long term plan...Build a 16 diode red and populate with 660 LD's. When the price drops on the 640's...change over...maybe...or mix and match 660 with 640's ? Look for a good used 532 @ 2W or build a 8(?) LD when the green diodes are available and at a reasonable price. So...something like 3W red and 2W green to combine with the 5W blue will be an affordable reality !!

Well...That's the Coherent Hydro Dream !!!
