Pangolin Show Space Preview?

Greetings Laser Addicts-

On the Pangolin Showspace site, anyone know how to upload an animated demo of what you want to upload? I want to upload a show, but I want to also provide an animated preview liek you see on the link above.

Any ideas?

You can "play" your show in Showtime in a way that will save an avi file. Give me a few and I'll get you directions.

Aww, shucks...

Just go to settings, playback settings, output and check avi. When you hit play it will open the create avi menu where you'll tell it if you want to add a wav or not and fps settings. I leave it at 20. I am making one now to liteglow's requested show.

I believe the site admins willl generate the preview for you once they've approved the show.

Unless things have changed, shows that are shared don't get posted right away -
the admins verify the shows for safety & usability (plus maybe a few other things?), then make the show available, along with a preview they generate, once the show has received their "seal of approval".

Indeedly doodley me ole mucka.
There's no need to upload any previews as I make them all (to a tried and trusted secret recipe handed down through the generations ) once the shows have had any necessary tweaks.
This is done so that the preview files conform to certain required standards.

All that's required are the show files themselves, a disclaimer text file with some info re: the show plus any music (if available) which is only used to make the previews and is generally not included in the final zipped package.
A little bit of security fairy dust is added to the mix and Voila!!

Pretty nice I though previews were made automatically.
Quite convenient to save to flash.
is there an other way that LD2000 users can output their previes to flash so that if they decide to say sell a show on their site that they can have an preview generated?

That off course helps, and now that you mention it it also prevents lc-flash users to get your show, so yeah thanks problem solved there.
