Mamba Users here want to make a show ?

I`m doing my _first_ real lasershow events 11 June :-)
Hoping all my lasers will do fine.
It will be 2 green and one RGB !

It will be 4 dj`s 2 of them is on the "Tiesto" level.. (they say)
And I got a question if I can make something for the intro tune.

I have it in .mp3 !

Will try to make something for it in mamba.
But not so sure if I will manage to make something THAT great as the beginner I am.

Only the 3first minutes is important as they usually will fade out the track into a new one at that point.

So I`m only asking if some skilled Mamba Black users here want to have some fun and make a small intro into that track ??

I'd be down to try on the QM and save to .ild if that would be acceptable. I'm a DM fan.

Convert the mp3 to wav first, mamba is not known for its rock solid audio syncing.

mp3 to wav... is that necessary.
Mamba dont sync anything, you have to do that yourself ?

I just downloaded the mp3 and converted it to wav in Soundbooth. In the end, you'll still need to check it out in Mamba with your audio track to verify it is synched 100%.

Just to clarify, you technically need a track for each projector, 1 RGB and 2 green? I suspect the 2 greens can be mirrored on one track?

I'll see what I can come up with tonight.

Yes I will use both 2 green linked together. and the RGB alone in the middle on its own track.

btw: dont do this if you dont have the time and feels like you really want to..
If I got a start, or something to begin with, that I can complete in mamba it will be helpful


I will btw transform the mp3 to wav to check it out in mamba.
But when it will be played on the floor, they use theyr own CD.

The rest of the evening will be played LIVE from both CD and 12" .
So it will be a challenge to do LIVE laser show from mamba with theyr music.
But I think it will be fun and cool :-)

The _Theme_ on this event is Tron Legacy !
So when the DJ dont play LIVE, it will be 15minutes with tron legacy music to relax.

I got one other tune I also need to figure out a special scene with .

I'd love to give it a try; I seem to have a bit o time on my hands and need to get back into show making. You are looking for a beam show correct? I haven't made a graphics show yet...

Perfect time for open air beamshows in that part of the world, what with all the ash in the air!

Got about 8 seconds done so far...

I plan to do two projection zones in Showtime and then just export each zone to .ild separately making two files. I think you can take both files and put them together in Mamba, the main one for the RGB and the second one for the two Greens... right?

What is the other song you were speaking of?
