Laser pricing question

I have recently been in negotiation with a few chinese sources for blue DPSS lasers and I have a couple questions for everyone here...

The way I see it, prices are crazy.

For the fallowing lasers what would you pay, realistically. I cant guarantee being able to make this happen, but it does help when I start arguing pennies and thinking of flying over there for negotiations....

For a Combo of 400MW Blue , 200MW Green And 400MW Red, I Woud be willing to pay, 3000.00 RangeBut not over 3500, as long as the spot size was not HUGE...( when i could afford it of course!)

It's the price of blue dpss lasers that are going to give you the blues.

A Melles Griot 58 BLD 605 doing 400 mW new will go for $28,000 USD.

Mind you production and labour costs are as low as you can get in China but I can't see you getting a 400 mW blue dpss laser for less than $10 grand even from China.
Unless new technology, methods and materials costs drop drastically, Keep on dreaming!

I dream of the day a single mode laser diode powerful enough to pump a directly double SHG laser crystal exists and all components are mass produced to bring down the price from champagne living to my beer budget
