Pangolin Beyond

It was well over a year ago... Maybe even two years ago that I jokingly called Beyond "Beyond Hype". It caused such a commotion on here (specifically from Stuka and Buffo if I recall) that it eventually led to me being banned. At this point, it's water under the bridge, and I am only amused by it all. But, I have to admit that I have a bit of a "I told ya so" grin on my face. I'm am interested to see what Beyond is all about, though.

Nah, I think it was more about ILDA than Beyond -I think?
It was around the same time as the extreme online "opinions" being expressed by another former member, and I think several of us caught up in the crossfire!

Like you said, water under the bridge -
besides, you're current online name is "more better"...

As far as Beyond is concerned -

I think it's pretty cool that Bill chose the July 16 launch date as a way to honor his Dad!

what i am really curious about is, if i purchase Beyond will i be able to play all the LD2000 shows on my FB3 ?

Because so far i heard:
Beyond will play all LD2000 shows

and

Beyond will work with LD2000 and Flashback3 hardware.

But nowhere i read Beyond will play all LD2000 shows on FB3 hardware.
I hope it does, then i would be great and worth the purchase because there are much more shows for LD2000.

I really look forward to the release, but like the others, i miss the extra "sneak peeks" and additional info that was promised on PLS in Frankfurt.

That will be interesting to see, but probably doubtful.

I Imagine there will an approach similar to LivePro, with versions of Beyond available for each version of the hardware, rather than one software package that will run on both.
In all likelihood, Beyond will be "backwards compatible" within the hardware it is specifically designed for, and play current LD2000 shows only on QM2000 hardware.

Guess we'll find out for sure in about a month!

Thank you for all of your interest, and your patience on this. We're set to release some "sneak peak" type information this week, with screen shots and some other information. We'll also release some survey-type questions, the answers to which will help guide the final product.

We haven't sent much information out up until now because we've been incredibly busy actually working on the product itself. At the same time, our main marketing guy Justin has spent a lot of time traveling to tradeshows. Not only that, but our business is up 50% compared to last year, so production has been going crazy keeping up with orders. All of this has kept us from being as responsive as we had hoped to be, for the people who became part of the BEYOND launch team.

We are on target to launch on July 16, as scheduled.
