Until today Pangolin updates were always free.
I don't believe they will change that policy.

However, if you have an ld2000 system, and you upgrade your system to beyond. This is concidered an upgrade (brand new software)
But if you have Beyond, updates will be free again for the lifespan of Beyond.

Above information is confirmed by William Banner from Pangolin it self.

I'll be interested to see if the live control aspects will make LivePro a thing of the past.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Besides of all this hype going on here:

    - when will QS for QM2000 be released that was promised to all LD2000 users a long time ago ?
    - why was LAStudio download for QM2000 removed from the site ?
    - where is the next announced LD2000 update we're all waiting for ?

    Copied from the faq:
LivePro is a separate Pangolin program which is optimized for live performance. It works differently, and has a different approach and philosophy, than Beyond. While we do have live performance controls in Beyond, anyone doing complex live shows should continue to use LivePro. LivePro will be supported and updated long into the future.
