    Default Windows 7 Slow Boot

Just thought I'd let you know re: slow booting on Windows 7, a repair of microsoft .net using add or remove programmes just solved this for me (suggested on the Sony Vegas Website for a scripting problem with their software).

No you misunderstood, I should have explained it better.

A few people have recently reported slow booting in Windows 7 on here.

I had a problem with Vegas Pro whereby it failed to initiate the scripts at start up and so wouldn't actually start beyond the splash screen.

The Vegas technical centre suggested a problem with Microsoft.net and to run a repair on it.

Having done this, not only does Vegas work, but Windows 7 now starts a lot more quickly.

Conclusion, for anyone with Windows 7 slow booting, try repairing Microsoft.net (Add or Remove Programmes > Change / Remove > Repair)
