Question Midi Keyboard for Mamba ?

I know mamba support midi keyboard.
But I dont know what to buy, or what to search for ?

Last night at the club, I notice some dude using a midi with 16 different slices and knobs to adjust "stuff" on a video projector (with live video frames etc..)

What is the best midi to use on LIVE lasershow ?

    cheers

I had a Novation Remote Zero SL MKI for a while. Loved it.
But swapped it for a Behringer BCF2000. Great bit of kit too.

Reason for swap: Fewer controls, better range on the sliders.

I've heard those little Korg things are good too.

    I liked this one !

as I imagine I dont need to many pads and turn knobs because mamba dont use that many?

All I would need is PADs that have different ILD files.
And 8-9 turn knobs to adjust spinning effect, wave effect etc ?

When I check mamba, I only find like 8 controls that I can assign to a turn knob?
    And 12 ¤ 4 = 48 different ild files

Edit: in mamba I only notice the "ild" files is marked as F1,F2 etc.. and then SHIFT+F1,F2 etc...
Does that mean that you cant use the PADs on a midi controller for that ?
