    Default Pango Performer Console Firmware

I'm working on repairing a broken Pangolin Performer Console. It's failing in ways that point to something wacky going on with the microcontroller. The chip is a socketed Atmel AT89C52. Does anyone have a copy of the firmware or a .hex dump so I can diff against what's on the chip? Thanks.

Why do you want to restore it?
i asked about the performer console too once and they told me that i shouldn't bother because it's discontinued.

Who told you that; someone here, or someone at Pangolin? I say equipment is equipment and if you can get something working that wasn't that is money in your pocket that wasn't there before.

The dead console was sitting in a box in the warehouse at work. I'm restoring it because I get to keep it if I can get it working.

The official word from Pangolin is that the console has been discontinued.

Just because something is discontinued, doesn't mean it's no good.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
