    Default Greenies!

These little modules are everywhere now. And for cheap too! Less than a dollar a milliwatt. Has anyone tried to modulate one of these? Any sellers/ manus better than others? Heatsinking/ TEC will work? Any info is appreciated! (thinking of getting a 200-300mW as a replacement for a dying 532 in one of my projectors.)
    Thanx in advance!

    Hey,

There are a couple of threads discussing this. I have a little review of one that I got :

    Krazer looked into it:

I put the green that I got in my nRGB module that I built.

Dave sells oem units from CNI I believe. And Bridge has some also that I am getting ready to try. The consensus with the little greens is it is all about thermal management. I am hoping that the units from Dave or Bridge are better. Also watch out for no Ir filter. My laser looked great on the meter and not so hot with a filter.

Thanks Chad! Good reading and food 4 thought. I may give one of the "winners" a try.
