I thought Coldplay's set looked great on telly, must have been even more awesome being there, even more RGB lasers than a PL LEM! - the video projection onto the pyramid was a great idea too, and at least they didn't overdo it.
Bit less impressed with the TV coverage of rhe Chemical Brothers set, someone obviously thought the light show wasn't good enough by itself and imposed extra video over the top, effectively blanking the view of the stage a lot of the time.
They had five projectors when we saw them in Orlando, 2008, and three of them when we saw them in Charlotte 2009. They looked to be 5 or so watt Lightwave projectors but they weren't able to use them that well in my opinion. Guess I will have to search for some video to show the "boss".

Love, peace, and grease,
allthat... aka: aaron@pangolin
Kinda funny, they are playing it on TV now.
Anyone notice the dumb ass with the green handheld? Looks like they are in the far back hitting the big structure in the middle of the crowd, but I have seen it hit the stage a few times.
Someone was doing the same thing during U2's set the previous night - now I know why Bono wears those glasses!Anyone notice the dumb ass with the green handheld?
With reference to the original topic, the Coldplay set is being shown again on BBC4 tonight at 7pm. All the laser stuff is towards the end of the performance.
