ive just been give four of these 1watt MRL-I-655 modules -

i was very excited as its always great to receive free lasers but then i thought what the hell should i do with em?

read the spec and they have beams like torches. so what to do, what to do?

im sure the forum can come up with some good ideas?

Send one of 'em to me for my Lumia project

Beam diameter doesn't really matter that much for a Lumia project, but 1 watt of red would go nice with my 1 watt blue

would be nice to use em but 5mm by 10mm beam @ 2.5mR is very poor. suppose i could combine em with a 445 and dont bother correcting the beam of the 445.

- lumia sounds really good!

- or you can find some old-school GM galvos with BIG mirrors, combine all reds in one beam, couple it with a quad blue and make a killer purple beam projector

or you could do what i did just make some red only beam projectors the 2 reds are cni 1w one is 650 the other is 655
