What was the original function of the caps? What kind of weird science project can I use them in?

The caps I got from the metal salvage yard near where I live.
I think they came out of power supplies but I'm not sure.

Just a heads up for that PSU voltage input. It won't work on 230-240 V mains. Good luck with the sale.
