    Thank you for the help.

The laser module in question is in fact made of two lasers with different polarizations (one being vertical | and one horizontal - combined through a polarized beam splitter (PBS) cube to equal a +) if the optics or mirrors before the PBS get out of alignment you could get two dots :. I appreciate you reaching out to learn more about your product, seeking more knowledge should never be seen as a bad thing. This forum is here to put information out in the open, because knowledge is power. Please feel free to ask questions and learn.

Speaking of knowledge, I found a small information guide I put together a year ago and thought I lost. Attached is a PDF that might help you a bit with laser projector and laser related terms and concepts. This was a first draft please excuse mistakes.

    Enjoy,

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.
