    Default die4drive pros

    Hey guys,

I just found 10 inbuilt die4drive pro boards. Ill build them up if there is some interest.

These are great little drivers, that incorporate a 3A switching PSU onboard.

Anyone interested? I would like $60 a board. If there is even a little bit of interest Ill get the bits to populate the boards

dave what diodes are these for red or 445?

    what is the modulation speed?

do these drivers produce a diode glow?

Hey man, Robin designed them fore a single 1w 445nm diode, but there is no reason why they cant be used for red as well. Mod speed is 30k IIRC, and there is the diode glow, but that's what a shutter is for right?

    Default Drives

What is the physical size? Any pictures would help.

Would you be willing to do a better deal for all 10?

Could they drive 2 of the 445 diodes?

    Thanks

Hi Larry,They are 50mm x about 40-45mm.I reckon $60 is already a bargain. I made up 10 of these a while ago and the parts were about that much.Plus it takes nearly an hour to populate each board.Great drivers though. They save you time and effort because they run off 12v and pretty much look after themselves. Highly recommended.Kit

    Hey Larry,

Ill take some measurements later.. Not really interested on doing better pricing, sorry. I guess they can drive more than 1 diode in parallel, however, I prefer series diodes, and they wont drive more than 1 diode in series.

    Thanks for the info,
What is the difference in the PRO model and the regular drive?
Also in the first post you mention it has a switching PS onboard, but then say they need 12V, please clarify
Just need to know what other items I will need with these.

    Thanks
