    Default power supply for alc-60x

I need a power supply for my ALC-60X,

The tube needs to be run very soon. I don't want to lose a new (less then 10 hours) tube from just sitting around. I hear horror stories about tubes going bad.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Do you like troubleshooting? I have two or three Omni 150 series. If I have to troubleshoot them... I'd really have to bill you for my time. Usually you just need 2 FETS at about 12$ a piece and a handful of other parts.

    Let me know.

I have replaced the FETS once before and it was a pain. I would do it again, but this supply that I have has seen its day. I think it was in a flood or "foam" party at one time. The only laser guy in Reno at the time, said here you can have this. I used it for a few years after I replaced the first set of FETS. (and my o-scope probe) But I also had to replace a bunch of traces since the water or foam damage has cause the corrosion to lift them off the board. More or less, the one I have is junk. But the the fan works

But yeah, I like to trouble shoot. Also being into ham radio. I fix a lot of gear around here.

OK, what if I told you it comes with the set up/adjust manual and schematics for that board and the free advice to run your scope on a isolation transformer so the probe does not get sent to the next universe? :-)

(The PSU FETS are hot chassis)
