Poll: Laser aficionados' interests

Just out of pure curiosity..

I am a hobby laserist working to become a pro laserist... with very little artistic talent and no musical talent.

I can probably slide in as "I am a hobby laserist and a business man", but I am hoping that it will be "I am a pro laserist and a business man" soon.

I'm not that much of a bussiness man yet, but certainly trying to work my way up to that level.
I do consider myself an artist, not a musician or anything on that level.
I love lasers and that's all that I care about.
I'm not sure if I am the one to judge if i'm pro or not or on the level of just being hobby, so I picked both because I'm in between?
Or am I indeed pro?
*not with beamshows that is certainly and my hardware skills are limited, I'm doing my best to advance and I certainly want that!*

I wouldn't be interested in any of this if I couldn't build my own projector and write my own software. It's purely an engineering hobby for me with some artistic and monetary relief.

I assumed this also covered BS artists.

I'm a little surprised. At this point in the responses, none of you are either hobby/professional laserists and DJ's. I thought there were more DJ's in our midst.

I had to choose between DJ and musician in the poll, so I chose musician as I'm doing that more now than DJing, but that's how I got into producing music...

Well, there were only 10 categories allowed, so .. yeah, in hindsight I coulda done better on this but .. too late now (no editing allowed on the poll OP ) Anyway, it's interesting to see who's into what . I wish I could have added a few more; e.g.: "race car driver", "technical engineer" etc.
FWIW, as far a I know, an artist is a person that creates works of art whether it's light-based or canvas and oils. I hope that most here are astute enough to be able to differentiate between an actual creator and a "b.s. 'artist'". lol.

I should have mentioned this before; it's "multiple-choice" meaning that you can select more than 1. (I didn't test that though, so I'm not 100% sure that works.)
