    ya I also have a hene around 10mW... but for the sake of size I think I'm going to go with a 20mW 635 diode

    and a diode is like, 2 inches

    bought a 20mW 635nm diode from modwerx for $19... not too horrible

    Nice one flecom- I may have to blatantly rip off that angle AL frame setup ya got there
    I put mine on hold for a little while, I had so many components I wanted to stuff in there, I swore my enclosure was too small.
    I did score a dmx-it on ebay for cheap, I think it will be perfect for running a lumia box.

    Has anyone tried to make Lumia wheels by heating those clear discs used to protect the top disc in a stack in an oven?

    Might be a too thin, but probably doable if you are careful. I'd skip the oven, take it outside and torch it until it starts to bubble a bit.
