ID:	26044This came in to our resale shop the other day- aside from the obvious -- what is it- what does it do? there are some on EEKBay at widely varing prices some maybe newer IDK- this one does power up and it may go on line FS However if you want it make me an offer. fire away!!(ps the $$ goes to the animal shelter--not me.)

    GE Programmable Logic Controller -
    is in a nice carrying case- my batt died after one pic, but I can take moar and post if you want.. I can bring it to SELEM V if that helps any-

    You can control traffic lights with it.

    Looks like a demo or educational unit.
    16 inputs connected to switches, 16 outputs connected to leds.
    Uses octal nummerics because of its 4 bits achitecture.
    Commandset is very limited. I learnt Plc coding on these things at school.
    Nice for Trafficlights runninglights, christmaslights, and such.
    Can't think of any laser applications other than an argon startup sequencer and interlock controller.
    Nowadays the capacity of the simplest pic controller is a 100 times more powerfull.

    Yeah-- its in great physical condition but i felt is was not state of the art.

    It's an old GE Programmable Logic Controller. The work hourse of industry.

    Well, Wayne thanks--- assuming this work 'housre' works.... does it still have value?? other than all those parts? Maybe I should just drag it to SELEM w/me and see if anyone there can make use of it. am sure the case and the 16 toggle switches can be re-cycled.
