    Question Scanfail signal on Scanpro20's?

    Hi,

Anyone know where I can tap my Scanpro20 scanner amps to get the position output signal for scan fail detection?

    Hey Domingo,

Actually, I do have this information. I have been told TP5 is scanner feedback. maybe put a CRO on it and see what you see.

    Hey Dave,

Ok, thanks for letting me know, I'll check it out as soon as I get the chance, although I must admit I don't really know anything about scanfail signals so I don't really know what I'm looking for.. I'll take a look anyhow and post back my findings.

I seem to remember that scanfail signals are +-10V reference to ground - or at least thats what I think I remember when I enquired about getting scanfail signal off of my DT25 board. Is this a standard across scanner drivers I wonder?

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Depending on how well they copied the Cambridge amplifiers, it should be .5V per degree.

Cheers guys, any info will be helpful. So I guess I'll start by running a few basic patters at diferent sizes and see what measurements I get.
