Got all the components, apart from the PCB's
I'm really hoping they arrive tomorrow so I can test etc over the weekend, and get them off to csshih for distribution next week.
China post is friggin useless
Making the beams diverge more is easy to do by turning the harp on its 'side' (oriented like a regular projector) and folding the beams into a vertical direction after giving them some space. A 12-15" flat, rectangular mirror should be more than enough.
If you want to do something really fancy you can even hide the entire assembly underneath a platform and you can stand on your harp while playing it.
Hmmm, the cool part of this is you can split the galvo purchase between 2 people, as you only require one axis and it's driver...
This space for rent.
@dnar Yes, that is the idea Only issue is you only get one power supply.
@Carl B Yes I did
Cheers,
Dan
Any sign of the PCB's yet Dan?
Also a few questions.
1. Do you have the beam sensors separate from the harp case or can they be fitted in the top of the case? I am assuming that there is a pot that sets the sensitivity of the sensors.
2. The switches / foot switches for opening the harp and changing the bank, are they latching or momentary switches?
3. and besides the blanking, what other setting options if any are there in the settings menu?
Can you tell that I can't wait for the arrival of this kit.

Hi Carl, I'm getting really annoyed at China post, the PCB's are taking forever! I'm considering scraping up some money from somewhere and ordering another batch with express shipping, in case the other ones are lost in the post
1. Yes, the sensors are a seperate PCB, you can put them anywhere you want. Yes, there is a pot to change sensitivity.
2. Momentary
3. Nothing else yet.
Really sorry about these PCB's taking so long, Thinking they may be lost in the mail
Cheers,
Dan
