A tactical flight officer noticed a bright green laser light illuminating the cockpit, said Lt. Alex Medel of the Hollywood division.
notice how it didn't say anything about being blinded or almost exploding the helicopter lol

    oh look! some green light!

I think 'light' is a gross misrepresentation. It was clearly a 'death ray'.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

a firearm is a little different from a pointer... both legally and realistically... although I would not be surprised if legally changed soon

I can shoot a pilot in a helicopter with a gun and kill him... realistically unless I am pointing a 40W YAG at him I doubt I could do the same with a laser

speaking of hater, whats with the gun hate? your in AZ of all places, some of the most lax gun laws in the country pretty much

I wonder if the threat of the laser has to do with fear it is mounted to a gun or rifle.

from a helicopter it would be pretty silly, bullets don't go in straight lines to infinity, so if you were being lit up by a firearm at that distance/height its pretty much a guarantee you are not going to get hit
