Default HP TC1100 Tablet PC... Plus others

    Hi all

Though i'd throw this out here first.

I have a HP TC1100 Tablet PC here in excellent condition. It has a touch screen (with stylus) and is running Windows XP Professional. It also has a nice slip in case and power adapter etc.

    See here for review: http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/lapto...-compaq-tc1100

This particular Tablet PC has had a brand new 60gb hard disk fitted and has a 1gb RAM upgrade giving a total of 1280mb of RAM.

Is has sat happily as a backup computer for running LD2000/Showtime etc., but i've never really needed to use it. Now i'm no longer doing commercial shows I have no real need for it.

I paid £275 for it a couple of years ago and have since fitted the new hard disk and upgraded the RAM. If anyone is interested make me a (sensible) offer before it goes to Ebay.

    Cheers

    Jem

    Hmmm... Nobody interested?

It looks like it's going to Ebay then

I felt sure it would be useful for someone here to have as a small compact backup system, but 'hey ho', onwards and upwards...

Last chance... Nobody want to offer me £150 plus postage for what is a really nice compact XP Pro machine?

    Arrrrggggghhhhh....

I've just been clearing out some stuff here and have damn near killed myself (slight exaggeration ) on some old Laptop PC's. Amongst them was this TC100 Tablet PC I advertised here some time ago. It's still as described above and after I got a bit of enthusiasm up last time to sell it i've done nothing since, apart from store it away. It still works great and has LD2000 and related software loaded and ready to go + a load of shows etc. It also has a portable USB CD drive and a portable USB floppy drive.

I used to cart this around as an emergency backup when doing shows, just in case my main laptop failed for any reason. I could be up and running again in a few minutes with this little fella.... Offers?

I also have here another laptop that I don't use these days. This one's a Compaq Presario 2800 running Windows XP. This was used as my main laptop for running Pangolin LD2000 software. The battery's a very weak, but other than that it works absolutely fine when plugged in to the mains. Case has some scratches on it, but it's an extremely robust laptop and has been a great workhorse. Offers?

Next I have a Fujutsu Siemens Amelio M1405 laptop which was running Windows 'Home Edition' XP. This laptop works perfectly and up to a couple of weeks ago was my wife's laptop. However, she picked it up and the hard drive fell out of the bottom and hit the floor. So, the hard drive is ruined, but with a new hard drive fitted it should be as good as new. The case has a small crack on the outside of the lid and another (worse one) to the left hand side of the mouse trackpad. Neither of these cracks affect functionality... Offers?

I really need to sell these for some cash, sorry no trades, and to be honest i'd rather they go to someone in the UK so that postage is easy. At the moment i'm feeling exceedingly lazy, so will only post pictures if anyone's really interested

    Anyone in the UK interested?

    Cheers
