Hey Guys,

This is Justin Perry from Pangolin. I hope you are all doing well.

I am starting this thread to let everyone know that the QuickShow shows competition has just over a month left to go before it comes to a final close.
The competition ends on September 1, 2011.

We have had less than 20 shows submitted for the competition. So what this means is that if you submit a show, your chances of winning that first place prize;
(a FREE iPad 2) are very good right now.

We want to encourage everyone using QuickShow to upload their shows to the Pangolin Shows Portal (http://www.pangolinshows.com) and to compete in this event.

We are judging the competition based on three aspects:

• Overall artistic concept
• Intuitive use of the QuickShow software
• Uniqueness of the show concept

We will be awarding first, second, and third place winners. We have some pretty awesome prizes in store:

1st Place Winner: A Brand new iPad 2

2nd Place Winner: An Enttec USB PRO device for DMX control of your laser shows

3rd Place Winner: A complete Pangolin gift package, including a T-shirt, mouse pad, and a signed copy of Game Changers,
the best-selling book from Pangolin’s President William R. Benner, Jr.

So if you are using QuickShow, be sure to upload your shows to the Pangolin Shows Portal, for your chance to win...

Thanks for the heads up.

The "Register" form does not work on my browser (Chrome 12.0.742.122 under osx). It works fine under FireFox (5.0). Conversely, the "Login" form doesn't work under FireFox, but does work in Chrome.

Pangolin Shows Competition for LD2000 and BEYOND


The Pangolin Prize showcases the best laser presentations from around the world, produced using Pangolin software. Pangolin is continuing this long-standing tradition for 2011.



In the last edition of the Pangolin Post, we announced that we are having a Pangolin Shows Competition exclusively for QuickShow users. You can read more about this competition in the last edition of our newsletter here



We are now officially announcing the start of our Pangolin Shows Competition for LD2000 and BEYOND users. We are inviting our clients to create shows in either of these two software platforms (BEYOND or LD2000), and to submit them to the Pangolin Shows Portal.



As with the Pangolin Shows Competition for QuickShow, the entries submitted for the LD2000 and BEYOND competition will be judged using the following guidelines:



Overall artistic concept
Intuitive use of the LD2000 or BEYOND software
Uniqueness of the show concept
We will award a first, second, and third place prize for the LD2000 and BEYOND show competition. These prizes include:


1st Place: $1000 in cash or credit towards the purchase of any Pangolin software purchase and a custom Pangolin award plaque.

2nd Place: $500 in cash or credit towards the purchase of any Pangolin software purchase and a custom Pangolin award plaque.

3rd Place: $250 in cash or credit towards the purchase of any Pangolin software purchase and a custom Pangolin award plaque.

Hey MLS,

You can upload to either category which you see fit... If you feel it is more suitable for either category (beams or animation) they go with whichever category you prefer.
