No problems with latency maybe but what happens if you let it idle for half an hour or physically disconnect the USB at the hub then reconnect?
Btw Bill said fb3.net is due Xmas this year in the Beyond thread.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I have one of these USB belkin hubs i wanted to sell anyone interested? I used it sometimes in a club but i switched everything back to DB25, its easier to deal with, and since all my cables are on nice cable drums i dont need it anymore, when i was using it wired or wireless it was working like a charm.

Noted. Depends on your application I suppose, but it certainly saved me a few hundred meter run of 25 core cable.

Tried the Belkin, had it lock up the FB3 after a laser enable/disable every time. This has worked a charm for me though.

Well I tried a set of USB over Cat5 extenders, it works spasmodically, due I am sure to the USB 1.1 limitation.

I tried plain old Cat5E wire to extend USB. It works great with a 10M cable, with 30M connected Windows complains it does not know what device is connected...

Off to buy a Belkin USB over IP hub. Wish me luck!
