Default windows keeps removing my Riya Lite Dac cable

Not doing something for a while, or sometimes randomly, windows just rejects working with my riya lite cable.
When i plug the cable out and in again, it works again.
but per hour of laser show designing, i have to plug out the cable and re-insert it like at least 5 times.
    This is bugging me alot.

any other people experienced something desame and can help me?

    borgqueenx ,
    Can you write in detail:
    - operating system? (you installed right drivers?)
    - software?
    - state of controller in Control_Panel/device_manager/Hardware/Ports_COM_LPT?

Borgqueen, you did not mention your Windows version.

I suspect this is Windows powering down the USB port for power saving.

To disable this, follow these steps:

    • Control panel.
    • System
    • Hardware
    • Device manager
    • Universal serial bus and controllers.

Right click on each "USB Root Hub" device listed, select properties and go to the "Power Management" tab. Deselect "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

Once all hubs are set to disable power management, reboot Windows.

Let us know if this sorts your issue.

    Seven 64bit pro.
Drivers that came with the dvd. Must be compatibe with seven as it states just that.
The state of the controller is "this device is working fine" or whatever that is called in english. Even when its not responding anymore.

EDIT: problems with my projector being dead. I have to fix this first before i can reply futher to this matter.

fixed. it was the cable coming from the AC that snapped. pretty easy to notoice since the red power light didnt blink.

all fixed without asking questions, and soldeirng iron. see im learning fast?

Okay back to the windows problem...
i tried dnar fix. damn stopid windows ofcource had every power saving function on...

I left for dinner, came back. thought the cable was still working. but nope it hangs on the current paused frame i was editting.
i played the show but it still keeps hanging on the frame.
quit the app, booted others, nothing helped.
