if they dont know the pinout how can it be tested?

The diode and tec are two different components on the same heat sink. He tested the diode but doesn't know how to test the TEC because he doesn't know the pinouts for that portion. Nothing shady about it that I see.

If it has been tested to stated power....without cooling it may never lase again...or at a fraction of it's power. I have seen the die left floating by the bond wires after a loss of cooling on C mounts. They are intolerant of heat much beyond 30 or so deg C at within a mm or 2 of the die. With the addition of the likely contamination of the facet...it may already have burnt deposits there that will tend to make a weak resonator. Reds are very much like the early 405nm cans. Andy you should know better

Wait, I remember someone posting in here a while back claiming to have bought all Chris' stuff at a bankruptcy sale and was selling it off... At the time we accused that person of being Chris, and they denied it. (Wish I could find that thread...)

Now Chris is back with his old user account, and he still has the stuff from the bankruptcy sale? So now we're supposed to believe that his PL account name (and password) was conveyed in the sale?

The person (bambi81478) didn't actually post here on PL. Rather, they contacted Spec via e-mail asking him to delete a post. Further bullshit is then posted, which pretty much confirms that bambi was Chris all along.
