Default Need help finding part for dpss laser

Please see pic below part is pointed to by arrow. I think its a VYO4 crystal but if so where do i get one thats like that to go on top of a standard c-mount 808nm diode

This is the inside of one of my first dpss lasers. A transverse laser. awhile ago my old diode died and i just went to replace it but it looks like in all the shipping a part had got bumped loose and fell onto the crystal coated and breaking most of the coating off hendering it useless. This might be an item someone has laying around, if so let me know your cost. If not please point to where I can purchase

Here is a few pics of the whole assembly including the KTP crystal

    Yes, Thats a Vanadate crystal...

Well, I can say I've never seen one mounted quite like that..
Itsa shame they only mounted on 2 sides, But it could be to your advantage...
Easy removal and mounting of a new one...

I will suggest finding an old CNI pointer as the Nd:YVO4 in them
were seperate too..altho , I think nowadays those are hard to find..
I will look around my stuff and see what I have here this weekend.

If one of those do work for you,
You might consider a different mount for the Nd:YVO4 one that mounts all four sides..or..
a 50um (the tiniest drillbit you have to just pierce thru) hole in a piece of 1/16" copper plate on the face towards the diode
will help tremdously..see sams faq on that.
as that one there is not very stable...
It really needs to be heatsinked on all sides..
Or get it to work and sell it off..Dunno.

Did your old diode have a GRIN lens over the facet?
From the looks of things, It looks like it was almost flush with the Vanadate crystal.

--Easy, is there such thing with lasers, is this crystal just as tedious as a KTP where it has to be mounted perfectly level with the output of the diode to achieve the beam

--errr, i lost my dead greenie pointer

--This would be imposible due to the other items on the other side already so close

--I wont be selling it as it is one of my first two dpss lasers I am keeping for sentimental value, the 2nd one i have replaced the diode and all is well

    --???? i dunno
