    Default ilda extension cable

hi, guys im new at this i just have a simple question i hope someone can answer this . i just bought my first laser with phoenix software i m all ready to go. but the ilda cable i got is really short its about 1 feet. so i want to buy a 30 feet cable but they go on ebay for over $100 the question is. if instead of buying the ilda extension cable i buy a 30 feet usb cable i would just have to leave the interface in the struss next to the laser. would that work. those usb cables go on ebay for $20 its a big diference i m not sure if it would work. i think it might but i just want to be sure it will work before buying it. what you all think?

thats because you were looking for an ILDA cable, you just need any straight through DB25M-DB25F cable

depending on the environment you use it in i have black cable shielded and also white cable shielded... but the choice is up to you the link from flecom work perfectly just make sure the pin connections are 1 to 1 and no lost or crossover pin connections...

Oh man don't buy anything related to American DJ, that stuff breaks on a regular basis... What i use for smaller to medium venues is a Chauvet Hurricane H1300 FOG/SMOKE Pro Machine this thing works no matter what and has a great price, for bigger venues combo of DF50 with Fog Machines... again stay away from the american DJ stuff...
