Default Laserbug: quick check: orientation of lasorb and resistor needed or not ?

    Hello,

Just finished the metalwork of a blue module today, i saw some laserbugs lying around in my toolbox and thought this would be a cool moment to use them.

    3 questions:

    1. When i place the Lasorb the printed text on the lasorb faces upwards right (at least when i check the 300Evil pics they do).

    2. When i use it to power a single diode the resistor is not needed right ? (and if so, do i need to bridge the resistorpads or leave them open ?)

    3. finally, to use them with 445 diodes, i bridge the middle pad with the pad marked 445 right ?

Just to make sure ;-) Hope someone can help me out, so i can finish it up.

    Kind regards,
    Dimitri

never owned or used a laser bug treacle, sorry

dont diodes have metal pins for a reason, so we can solder wires directly onto them?
