Sats can be DMX, Jon at Technological Artisans sells a DMX board inexpensively.

I'll post a pic of a minimalist satellite soon.

with the cost of an FB3 being what it is I don't think DMX is a good route to go... its going to give you minimal control over the projector

just get one FB3 for your two satellites and invert your X signal on one of the projectors

If you have a spare colour channel on your existing FB3, unless you want separate X&Y for your satelites, you should be able to use the same X&Y (in parallel) and drive the satellites off the 4th colour. You can tune the 4th color channel to receive a sum of all 3 colour signals, or whatever combo you like.

I dunno, I like my satellites to be able to do something different from the main projector... and seriously if your spending thousands of dollars what another $600? lol

    I got a nice 'argon' out of 1W 532 and 1.5W 445.

I would echo Dave and say build them as 'argons' but leave space to make them RGB, it'll save tears in the long run.

    RGB satellites rule

that said, I'm still toying with 'another' pair of bigger satellites, maybe 2W 532 each

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    Famous last words:

"I will never need RGB satellites".

How bad does this disease get? :retardedretardo:
