Laserwve release it's new 2-5W green laser, the beam spec is 3mm and 1mrad, which is suitful high-end projector, match with Coherent or other company's small divergence red or blue lasers.

Do you give info on signals between head module and driver card. ?

I am getting seriously annoyed with DHOM for NOT giving me this info which is needed to make decision on a warranty return to China.
It is silly to send stuff to China if the problem is electronics which can be fixed here in EU.

Hi, Are you meaning The line informations between Laserhead and Power supply.
Just like which line is LD+, LD-, TEC+, TEC-, RT, fan etc?

This is more than I am getting from DHOM

Yes I do mean what you suggest .... but ALSO what the signal characteristics are when everything is working OK.

eg. TEC current and voltage (range) when working properly.
Diode current and voltage when full on. (or range when modulated).
Thermistor resistance/voltage when TEC should turn on if all is working correctly.

In general, sufficient info to troubleshoot and diagnose a problem quickly and easily ....as either just an electronics problem (fixable in EU) or otherwise cavity mis-alignment or worse (requiring return shipment to China).

Returning stuff to China gives rise to high shipping costs incredible customs hassles! (especially if no RMA documentation is available), and is impossible to insure under EU law since product is not fully working and has no clear value for insurance purposes.
This was always a big problem with returning faulty gas laser tubes to USA from EU.

you want to know not only which line is for which using, you also want to know when the laser normal working, what the doide current using, what's the temp setting, what the NTC value is match with which temp, etc, right?
look like that's not problems for us if you requirement.

Looks like next green I buy will be a Laserwave !

I will also not hesitate to recommend your products to other PL users as a result of making this info available as a matter of policy.

I have had to do a lot of totally unnecessary work on my DHOM, to discover that the problem was just a transistor up the spout. (Definitely NOT worth sending it back to China for.)

If I had been given the info we have been discussing by DHOM or one of their Reps this would have taken me about ten minutes!

It would be fairly simple to set up a test rig to interrupt the umbilical and check the signals WITHOUT putting the laser at risk and allowing a diagnosis BEFORE returning the whole shebang to China.

IMHO local distributors SHOULD do this as matter of course to avoid undue and above all unnecessary expenditure and risk for their clients.
